Environmental Monitoring Unit

The Environmental Monitoring Unit (EMU) is a self contained module designed for the monitoring of environmental parameters such as the presence of smoke, temperature and pressure within aircraft 'Commercial Off The Shelf' (COTS) equipment that could affect the safe operation of the COTS during a flight mission.

The EMU can control power to external devices in a fixed sequence and logs 'Power Up' and 'Power Down' sequences as well as any alarm conditions. External communications is provided to other equipment through both hard wired connections and Ethernet LAN.

DYHE Series DC to DC Industrial ATX Switching Power Supply

The model APT-DY300HE power supply has 300W continuous total output power, an ATX form factor, input voltage of +28V DC and an input voltage range from +18V DC to +36V DC.

The input current is 25A(max) at full load and Low Line. Inrush current rating of 15A (max) at 24V DC input and 25 degrees C cold start. The input connectors are 3 position terminal blocks rated at 300V/20A. The momentary peak voltage is 60V DC for 0.1 seconds. The switching transistors are Dual TO-3P MOSFET for High MTBF and High Efficiency.

PIC Panel Light Driver Backlight

AES designed and manufactured the PIC Panel Light Driver to solve a client's problem with excessive noise from existing driver circuits causing failure of the lighting controller circuit. Using its EMI testing capability, AES identified deficiencies in the existing driver design and engineered a solution to ensure no significant noise from the new driver circuit would interfere with the lighting controller.

24 inch LCD Panel

AES designed and manufactured a console mount 24 inch 16:10 LCD panel with 1900X1600 pixels, 8msec refresh, 110/230VAC, Analog and DVI inputs and resistive touch screen for use in command and control systems.
